Professional Tutors Network

Linda Perales

Professional Tutors Network is committed to helping students of all ages and/or their parents to find tutors that best meet their needs. The student takes the lead in how the learning program is implemented.

The student takes the lead

Our tutors get to know who the student is first: strengths and weaknesses, interests and talents, learning style(s) and challenges. Formal and/or informal assessments are done throughout the instruction period. The program is continually customized to meet the student’s emerging needs.

Tutor’s that understand and appreciate unique ways of learning

Professional tutors place the student first when developing the learning program. The subject matter of the program is presented from where the student is, at the pace that makes sense for him or her, and in the manner that reflects his or her learning style. For your convenience, we tutor in your home or local library.

Testimonials

“My 17-year-old son has dyslexia, ADHD, and behavioral issues. There is a lot of respect there between the both of them. In September, he was unable or unwilling to read. He had had some bad experiences in school, but our tutor has gained his respect and trust. She has taken him from a 3rd grade reading level to 6th grade in just a few months. They continue to work on increasing his vocabulary and his writing skills. She is incorporating movement and her knowledge of brain research to enhance her lesson plans.” ~ Issaquah, WA
